Michael Hildbold, the founder of Élevage, is a wine professional specializing in wine education and beverage program design. Michael graduated from Cornell’s School of Hotel Administration with a degree in restaurant operation and beverage management. He has spent the past ten years immersed in the wine and restaurant industry working as a sommelier, general manager, winery rep, and retail buyer. Michael was recently awarded the Advanced Sommelier credential from the Court of Master Sommeliers, and is now studying for the Master exam. He currently resides in San Francisco, California.
